Acorn in Action: Libbie Mill Library

The Libbie Mill Library is a branch of the Henrico County Public Library system located in the Libbie Mill Midtown development in Henrico. The Henrico County Public Library system has 9 locations throughout Henrico in the greater Richmond area, and the Libbie Mill Library offers extensive community services in their 60,000 square foot location.

They offer a wide range of selections for adults, teens and children, they also provide a strong focus on personal transformation, community advancement and media resources. They have a Digital Media lab, public-use computers, meeting rooms with updated technology, collaboration areas and more. Because of their focus on community development and social outreach, they received a LEED Silver Certification, which stands for “Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.”

Our team at Acorn Sign partnered with the Libbie Mill Library to fabricate architectural letters, ADA room signage, exterior monumentation and a commemorative plaque. We enjoyed working with the Libbie Mill Library because of their focus on sustainability and community outreach. As a company based in the Richmond area, we love working with community organizations to help develop and grow the area and provide services to the community.
